Wildflowers Of The Rocky Mountains

Hiking in early summer is the best time to see and photograph all the colorful array of flowers blooming along the trails and meadows.

As an avid flower lover, I often drive my partner crazy stopping frequently to snap a shot of the flowers as we walk the trails. There are so many varieties it is hard to keep track. Here are just a few of the ones we found recently in July in Southern Alberta.

Many I am not sure of the names so if you may know them, shoot me a comment as I’d love your feedback.
