Tasty Shrimp With Coconut Basmati/Jasmine Rice
|Who doesn’t love a good shrimp with rice recipe? So tasty with the sweet onion, lemon pepper, and a hint of coconut in the rice makes for a delicious easy-to-make supper.
Ingredients:
- 4 C Shrimp
- 1 pkg Basmati (Coconut) Bens Ready Rice
- 1 pkg Jasmine (Coconut) Bens Ready Rice
- 1/2 Yellow Sweet Onion
- 5-6 Cloves of Garlic
- 30ml Real Butter
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 + tsp Lemon Pepper
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions:
Tasty Shrimp With Coconut Basmati/Jasmine Rice
Thaw shrimp and pat dry.
Cook rice as per instructions separately. Tear corner of pkg and microwave for 90 seconds.
Add oil, butter, garlic, and onion to the frypan. Stir in shrimp and seasonings and saute shrimp to pink, opaque color approx 5-7 min.
Pour rice together in a bowl. Serve each serving separately.
Pour over rice and serve with broccoli or favorite vegetable.
