Spin Doctor Catamaran Best Choice in Cabo

On our recent trip to Cabo San Lucas, we had the privilege of boarding the Spin Doctor not once but twice on our holiday. OMG, It was the “best”experience.

Spin Doctor is part of the La Princesa Cruise activities. It is their medium size catamaran that can hold 40 people. It was available to us for our Snorkeling excursion and our Sunset Cruise.

We had the opportunity to try out a couple other cruises on other boats but nothing compared to the experience we had on Spin Doctor. Upon hoping on board you are welcomed by an amazing crew,that are so friendly and will answer any questions you may have and constantly joke and get people up and have fun.

On the Snorkeling day, the crew prepares a great lunch of Tuna Fish Sandwiches, guacamole, Mexican salsa & Chips. You also have a choice of an open bar with domestic drinks like special punches, margaritas, and beer.Corona with lime and punches were our go to drinks.

You set sail in the Los Cabo marina for a 31/2 hour tour. Head out to the world famous Arch and Divorce Beach (Pacific side)and Lovers Beach. Then travel to Santa Maria Bay where they throw anchor and hit the beautiful waters to snorkel some incredible sea life. I did find the water was a bit murky that day but I did see some cool fish. I had some issues at first trying to go with no life jacket and panicked a bit, They were so patient to help me get my jacket on and head back out. We had a great time meeting people from all over. I sat on the nets on the front, you can lay down and relax and see the water underneath you. So COOL!  This cruise is highly recommended.

The sunset cruise is similar but like it says’s it is at dusk. The tour is the same as it heads out to the Arch etc and around the bay area. It is a 2 hr cruise with the same menu and drinks as the day cruise.This is usually a good one during whale watching season, unfortunately, was not the time we went. The music is incredible as they play some upbeat dance party tunes. It definitely seems to be “the” party boat.
