Paprika is a great versatile spice which can be used in many dishes such as, goulash, chicken, fish and pasta dishes. Contains Vitamine A, E, B6, Iron, and Capsaicin small amount of Paprika offer antioxidants and nutrients. It has many other benefits as well found here. Olives are high in Minerals and Vitamins but do contain high sodium as they are usually packaged in brine, salt water. Although this recipe has some great nutritional benefits it is a high sodium dish and should be altered due to specific dietary needs. Coconut oil, olive oil contain healthy high fats.
Quick Tasty Olive Paprika Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 C Olive oil
- 2 tbs Coconut oil
- 1/2 C Sliced green olives
- 1/8 tsp Basil
- 1/8 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Olive juice
- 1/2 Sliced Red Onion
- 1 tbs Minced garlic
- 2-3 tbs Paprika
- 1/8 Anchovie paste (optional)
- 1/8 tsp Himalayan sea salt for the sauce
- 1/4 Sea salt for pasta water
- 1/8 tsp Ground pepper
- 2 Cubes frozen spinach (optional)
- 3 serving size Spaghetti
- tsp of Capers. ( optional)
Cooking instructions
Measure out all ingredients beforehand. Cook pasta in salted water, strain and set aside. Heat oil to medium/high heat, stir in garlic, onions and add remaining ingredients. Stir sauce for 2 minutes and toss with spaghetti. Ingredients may be altered to the desired flavor and serving.
