These Keto Tuna Cucumber Boats are a great addition to your Ketogenic Diet.

What is a Ketogenic diet? It is a diet that consists of omitting or reducing carbs and replacing them with healthy fats to your diet. This process increases your metabolism in which your body goes into a ketosis process. This process initiated by the body to help us survive such as survival mode. Recipe:

1 large cucumber

2 tbsp feta cheese

1 can tuna

1-2 tbsp mayonnaise

Directions:

Wash cucumber and cut off ends. Cut cucumber in half. Hollow out by running your spoon down the middle to remove a small section that contains seeds.

Mix up tuna, feta cheese, and mayo. Add spices such as lemon herbs, Himalayan sea salt, pepper and cayenne as desired. Cover cucumber with the mixture to desired consistency.

Approx 250 cal, if use all the mixture.  125 if cut in half. Large Kosher pickles work well also.
