Italian Sausage Spaghetti Sauce
|Italian Sausage Spaghetti Sauce
Recipe:
5 Cloves of garlic
1/2 Onion
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Small can of Tomato Paste
1 can 796 ml Crushed Tomatoes
5 Hot/Mild Johnsonville Italian Sausages (ground or out of casings)
1/2 Tsp Basil
1/2 Tsp Oregano
1/4 Tsp Salt and Pepper
Remove sausage from casings and fry until cooked and lightly browned. In a saucepan, heat olive oil. Grind garlic and onions in a grinder. Add to oil, stir to soften. Add tomato paste and stir till past turns to an orange color. Add crushed tomatoes,spices. Mix in the sausage and simmer on med heat for 1 hr.
Serve over fresh pasta or squash.
