Before you question if Pruvit Ketones Supplement ( Keto OS) is right for you? I recommend you learn a bit about Ketosis. If you have been in the health industry for long I can bet you have heard of ketosis and the benefits of the state of ketosis. Ketosis is a state in which your body burns fat for fuel instead of glucose for energy. As you may know, getting your body into ketosis is not easy and takes a pretty regimented diet to achieve it. Fats do not mean you can go eat cookies, cakes, candy and ice cream. That’s not the kind of fat we are talking about.
- Avocados, real butter or ghee, cheese (not processed) fish, coconut and olive oils to name a few. Yes, Bacon and Chicken skin is good as well in moderation consistent with a keto diet, although there are dangers if not followed correctly which may cause health issues such a heart disease, slow metabolism, weight gain, and constipation among others. Exceeding recommended carbs, sugars and proteins will defeat the purpose and must be followed for best results.

It is designed to help reach ketosis within 1 hour of ingesting and keep you in a state of ketosis for up to 24 hrs. Exogenous Ketones are an alternative source to adding ketones in the body, unlike the ketogenic diet that is nutrition based and can take days to achieve and can be lost if the diet is not followed accordingly?
With Keto OS they claim that following a keto diet is not required but suggested if you want the results. My take on Keto OS is that it isn’t for everyone. I do like the taste of the product but some do not. It took me a few days to acquire a taste for it but now actually crave it. The Orange Dream is my preference over the Chocolate. Max is the new improved which I have not yet tested. The energy and the focus are great but found for weight loss there was not a big much change. For me practicing a ketogenic diet proved too difficult although I continue using healthier fats as a way of life now such as real butter and coconut oils and adding them both to my coffee is a nice change. This is called Bulletproof coffee, Pruvit has a creamer Keto Kreme that you can add to your coffee that gives you the same results.
Although it gives you some of the great benefits of a vitamin/mineral it does not give you the nutrition as in a supplement product. If Ketosis is what you are aiming for then I highly recommend Pruvit KetoOS otherwise stick with a nutritional base product.
