Make your Own Easter Egg Bath Bombs
|Bath Bombs make great gifts for any occasion. I decided to Make my Own Easter Egg Bath Bombs with a few extra healthy ingredients. Bath Bombs became popular with Jewelry tucked inside. Why not make your own for kids. There are a few small things you can add to your bombs to make them extra special for Easter. Magic Beads or Magic Grow Capsules work well. There are so many great recipes out there but one that caught my eye was these 2 young girls. Really adorable. Feel free to use their recipe or add a twist like mine.
You will need:
- 6 Easter egg molds
- 1 c Baking powder
- 1/2 c Citric acid
- 1/2 c Corn starch
- 1/2 c Epsom salt
- 1/4 c Sea salt
- 1-2 tsp Essential Oil
- 1 tsp coconut oil or oil of your choice
- 1 tsp Honey
- 2 tsp coconut milk
- Food coloring (neon)
- Matcha powder ( optional)
How to:
Mix all dry ingredients together in medium bowl, stir with a whisk. Add liquid in a separate cup, whisk well and add to dry mixture.
Take 1/2 cup out at a time and add the desired coloring. Mix well and pack gently into molds. Use a good quality mold as I had a heck of a time getting them out of cheap molds. If you use matcha add 1/2 tsp to the 1/2 cup of mixture. 1/2 a cup makes approx 1 egg. Set leftover mixture aside from each to use at the end to make a multi mix or discard leftover mix.
Awesome … can’t wait to see more. I am really looking forward to working together .. what’s your address for when I go out later .. for 11.5 water.
