Mexican Style Shepard’s Pie

Equipment

  • 91/2 x 13 1/2 Deep pan
  • Frypan

Ingredients
  

  • 2.5 lbs. Ground Beef
  • 8 medium Potatoes
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Medium Onion
  • 1 Pkg Taco seasoning
  • 1/2 Pkg Spicy Taco Seasoning
  • 2 Cups Frozen Mixed Veggies
  • 1 Cup Tex Mex Shredded Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Boil potatoes,
    Chop onions and garlic, add to beef mix.
    Fry ground beef in pan, add seasonings and mixed veggies.
    Make mashed potatoes
  • In deep pan add ground beef mixture evenly.
    Top with mashed potatoes over mixture.
    Sprinkle with parsley.
  • Bake for 25 min at 400F. Remove from oven, add 1 cup of Tex Mex shredded cheese.
    Return to oven for 5 min or until cheese melts and browns.
    Remove from oven to rest 5 min. Serve and enjoy!!
