3 Best Bath Bombs without Jewelry

Lush, bath & Body Works and Happy Hippo

 BathBombs

Bath Bombs are all the rage in 2016 and will soon be even bigger in 2017. Bath Bombs with Jewelry grew in popularity as well as local independent companies who strived to make their bath bombs unique.  The jewelry bath bombs, they are very well made and can have a ring valued at as much as $10,000 hidden inside. These usually retail from $29.00 – $44. As lovely as they are it is not feasible to have a bath frequently at that price. Regular bath bombs can also add up running from $2.50- $10 per bomb.

3 Best Bath Bombs without Jewelry

#1 Happy Hippo    $2.50 Each

Happy Hippo Mango

Happy Hippo is a Canadian  Company which the products are Epsom Salt based designed to Soothe, Relax, and Soften the skin. Other ingredients are Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Dry Milk, fragrance. They carry 29 aromas to choose, whether it be a fruity scent or aromatherapy as well as mood soothing scents.  Price for bath bombs is $2.50 each. I found them for 10 for $10 which was a great deal. This Mango Mania was lovely, it took about 2 minutes to fill my tub with an orange glow and a fresh mango scent. My skin was soft and smooth in and out of the bath. No need for an extra moisturizer after a bath.

Bath & body, warm vanilla sugar

#2 Bath and Body Works   $8.

Bath and Body Works is an American retail store mall brand. It was hard to find the ingredients list for these. Made from the basics of Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric acid, and fragrance. It does have an oily base to it so I am thinking it is either olive oil or coconut oil. Very basic bath bomb with nothing real special. I found it a bit oily and not much fragrance. Although there was no need for an after bath moisturizer. Wasn’t impressed as well as it was a bit pricey.

Lush special edition

#3 Lush   $6.95

My first impression was that the bombs had an unpleasant scent. They all had a similar scent to me with no distinct fragrant aroma you would think to match the scent description. Ingredients are basic consisting of Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric acid and an array of fragrant oils. I really don’t understand why they carry such a pungent smell.

I must admit it was one that did produce some funky colors as it was fizzing out. Unfortunately, the appeal fizzled out as well. A moisturizer was needed after a bath. Overall, I don’t see what all the hype is with these products. They strive on fresh, uniquely designed with organic homemade ingredients as well as belief in giving back and promoting acts of kindness.

Update

Bathorium Mamma’s Perch Bath bomb

I just recently came across Bathorium. A Candian Company. Their products are 100% Natural with products such as Essential oils, Matcha Tea, Rhassoul Lava Clay, Kaolin Clay, Sea Salts, Avacado Cocoa Mango butter as well as Coconut oil coconut milk and Aloe. The Bath bombs look incredible with 11 to choose from. I will soon let you know how I like them. This Mamma’s Perch looks very inviting.

Bathorium review is done and I must say I was VERY impressed. The ingredients are second to none. $9.95 is the highest of the top 3 but with the ingredients, product wise I believe it’s #1. Check my review

Conclusion

Happy Hippo seems to be the best bang for your buck. They seem to be the same consistency to the jewelry bath bombs in size and ingredients. Although Charmed Aroma is larger as it contains a plastic ball with a ring inside. Jewelry bath bombs are very well made with the finest ingredients, leaving skin soft, smooth and fragrant. Unfortunately, due to the cost, not a bomb you can use on a daily basis.
